Good for a first episode
First off, let me just say that I did find this first episode entertaining, but I also did have some problems with it. I looked at this podcast like a TV series. A good series can either 1. Start off strong(Brooklyn Nine-Nine for example) or start off weak then become great(Parks and Rec. for example). I believe that this podcast will be great in no time. The first podcast sounded scripted to me. I felt it was missing what other Schmoes Know network podcasts have: a laid back discussion. By the end though it started to become more laid back, and I enjoyed that second half more. The other nit pick I had is that there are WAY too many segments. I couldn't barely keep up with them. It seemed like a new segment would start right after one just started 2-3 minutes ago. Also, I haven't seen E.T. in years, so when the actress from E.T. came on, I didn't know what role she was in, because as far as I remember, it was never said who she played in the film. I know A lot of people will disagree with me, but I don't want to give it a 5 star rating just because its A Schmoes podcast. I'm sure it will improve over time. Thanks for the hard work over at Schmoes network. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing this podcast improve.
