“We don’t all need to sound like those classically phony, canned WWII-era radio/TV announcer voices, but the untrained voice itself can be annoying, too. Certain accents and mannerisms are simply perceived as condescending by most midwestern Americans.
Laura Carlson preceding this episode unfortunately had one of those irritating, condescending voices, but the episode itself was initially narrated by a pleasant female voice. The men varied.
The content itself was fine.”

Omg no!
Listened today and it had Kristin V reporting again. She might be a good reporter, but is not meant for radio. Needs voice lessons. Hard to listen to!”
