Very Biased—Visit the Telos Group for more objectivity and nuanced critiques
Listed fully to all available episodes (currently 4). I was excited for another Cosper production after his excellent work with the Rise and Fall of Mars Hill. However, the clips and commentary selected for this production are far from unbiased—anything that comes close to a critique of Israel feels like a footnote compared to how they frequently critique Palestinian (yes, even Palestinian Christian) concerns. I held off on my review thinking perhaps it was just the first couple of episodes but it’s clear this is not the case. If you want a more nuanced historical look at the complicated past century of conflict, the Telos Group has several resources available and actively works towards peacemaking in the region in a way that dignifies and holds space for the hurt of all while pointing out that isn’t a black and white good guys/bad guys issue.
