“The lecture by Veronica Mendoza Jenkins MD on the care of transgendered patients was an insult. Old and outdated information. Too much generalization. And a bit condescending. She uses the wrong pronouns and has obviously spent little or no time actually in the transgender community.I doubt she has counseled very many patients. This seemed to be a lecture from the 80's.
It seems anybody with a medical degree can regurgitate from books written by others whose out dated and biased theories (that have been disproven and dismissed as un credible ) and pass themselves off as experts. If this is how the medical profession treats patients in Arizona,
I'm glad I live very far away.”
