I love this podcast and genuinely feel that listening to it makes me a better human being! My wife gave birth to our son in March 2020, a week before the UK went into lockdown. The first night we brought him home he started to have difficulty breathing and we had to rush him back into hospital and stayed with him in hospital for five days while he had antibiotics leaving our daughter with grandparents. That experience alone was incredibly traumatic for us but we then spent over a year isolating and missing out on all of the usual experiences you have with a new baby. It’s safe to say it’s not been our best year. I love horror films and listen to a lot of horror podcasts but listening to this podcast is different because it helps me to understand the mental health issues that I have struggled with during this experience and has helped me to open up about it. Listening to Mike talk so openly about his personal life helps me to be a better husband and father. I had heard Jen on another previous podcast but I love how much she has come into her own here. Lara is the total MVP of this podcast and her synopsis (synopseye? Synopsisees?) are the highlight of my week! I’ve caught up on every episode and am watching the films each week! Some for the first time which is always a bonus! Anyway, sorry for the long one! Stay safe and keep podcasting! Joe Banyard, Forest of Dean, UK😊

I don’t agree with a lot of his pop culture opinions. I also find the way he assumes everyone should...Read full review »

Like Peanut Butter and Chocolate, discussions relating to mental health and horror movies go great together! The chemistry between the hosts makes it a lively and fun discussion and I’ve discovered new ways to look at old favorites as well as discovering new movies to add to my queue.
