NOT A PSYCHOLOGIST
I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner and was intrigued by this show when it was suggested to me on Spotify. I listened to one episode and could tell from the way this man was talking about people, referring to them as “sheep” and berating those who obey basic traffic rules for following “herd mentality,” that he would be a horrible psychologist…. If he even were one. And it turns out, he’s not. He mentioned minutes later that his background is in sales. SALES!!! He then claims that he’s a good enough salesman and has sold enough things in his life that he doesn’t have to sell junk to people… and yet, the advice that this man gives on this show is nothing but pure junk, predicated on nothing more than some man’s cluster B personality disordered ego. As a psychiatric medical professional, I take significant issue with one who purports themselves to be qualified in this field when they have no valid credentials whatsoever. Not only does this show give horrible advice, it could be a detriment to those who blindly believe that this person knows what they’re talking about. This show should not be provided on any platform, and frankly this man should be reported to psychology boards for misrepresentation.

I resonate with everything I heard today in the two episodes I played. I appreciate the author’s easy to understand, enlightening and sometimes witty dialogue and will be listening to more.
