To new beginnings..
I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for creating this podcast… How I discovered you is actually through my ex-boyfriend from when I was in high school. Long story short I have a lot of trauma, resentment, anxiety, whatever it is you wanna call it because of him, because of the way that he treated me… I never understood why he did the things that he did no matter how much I try to change myself for him while continuing to be confused about my own self and my own being. AGE 25 and in today’s day of January 7th 2022… I received a text from him after not talking for 5+ years. He was apologizing with sending me this link to your podcast. He then went to explain himself that he was sorry for the way that he treated me and that he wanted to show me the reason why he did the things that he did and apologize going forward that he is not who he once was. He HIMSELF didn’t even know why he did the things he did or why he was who he was then..With that being said I learn through my own experiences that our past does not define who we are and that we should be so grateful for things that come and go in our lives because it creates a life learning lesson… One step closer to finding out who we truly are and what our mission is in this world. So I thank you. I REALLY DO look forward to hearing more in your podcast… Especially with eating disorders as I have had distorted eating for about five years, and while I have been going to school to be a registered dietitian; I discovered that I myself have an eating disorder and body dysmorphia… Following traumatic experiences from relationships throughout the years with family members, friends and myself.

Listened to the first half of "Excuses Be Gone" and I struggle to understand how this is designed to help people. Your first few episodes (which were great) indicate your goal to help people. This episode sounds more like incoherent, defensive venting.Read full review »
