“I’m a true crime addicted - I’ll confess, sometimes I’ll take what I can get to get by, BUT oh, is there a difference when you get top shelf stuff! This podcast is auditory GOLD. Through you, I have found the podcast that has true balance in its banter, story telling, and comedy.
Slater, the manner in which you relay your findings is with integrity, poise, and with all of the empathy and kindness in your phycho heart. You truly have a way of captivating your audience every single episode! There are times I forget I’m listening to a podcast and I believe I am listening to a book - whenever Tank says “wait, say that again,” I too am having an eargasm.
Tank, you have a crucial and thankless job to do; I conduct child abuse investigations and I need lightheartedness and humor in order to not crumble. Yes, I could listen to something other than true crime, but let’s be honest, that’s just not me. I think it’s hard to first of all, find humor in sad or scary situations, much less to do it with grace and respect, but you are one of the few that can do comedy/ crime with taste. You embody my intrusive thoughts, but when something hits you hard, you bring us there with you. With all the eargasms I could have with Slater’s story telling, it just wouldn’t be the same without you.
The marriage between the two styles is integral. You have a psychopedia lifer in me! Thank you!”
