So insightful and well put together
I started listening to this expecting Tank to be kind of a douche bag, making dumb jokes and stirring the pot, but he’s incredibly smart and insightful. Slater is very knowledgeable and she’s very informative, but sometimes it’s a little over-done, over-written, trying too hard. Especially when they need to stop and praise her for her writing (over-writing), she’s sitting there waxing poetic and then she has to stop and talk normal to explain something or to look for praise from Tank, or to explain why they said things in a certain way, just ruins the moment. It’s so much easier to listen to her when she just talks in a normal, casual tone instead of her over-written and fluffy scripts.

Excellent research, engaging hosts. But definitely not the only true crime/comedy podcast - True Crime Obsessed is my favorite.
