Downton Abbey Meets Your Inner Monologue
The best combination possible. It’s as if your audiobook was narrated by your best friends. They do ridiculous character voices (Sherlock becomes a Jewish grandmother), guess what will happen next (“Are those boys gonna kill those babies?!”), and make intelligent feminist commentary on how we have changed. They complain about pretentious sentences, freak out over ridiculous plot lines, and generally bring life to these dusty, otherwise barely palatable short stories.

Thanks for making this! It was really fun. I knew I would enjoy the roasting of the bad stories, but I was surprised at how delightful it was when the hosts discovered good literature.

Just terrible. Was directed to this by Blacker and Acker at TAH. Thought it would be smart, funny and well done. What it is is sloppy and juvenile. It sounds like they picked up a book and instead of looking up anything that doesn’t make sense (bergomeister means mayor) they just read it out...Read full review »
