THE COSMIC LIBRARIAN, OR JUST "DARLENE" IF YOUR SEARCHING FOR A PARTICULAR BOOK ;-) I have spent much of my life experiencing things that are beyond the norm, and often unexplainable in terms of what science knows today. My experiences have been literally all over the place, and include profound synchronicities (coincidences), precognition, time slips, UFOs, memories of other lives, ghostly phenomena, and conversations with the dead, as well as many other so-called ‘paranormal’ events. I prefer to label these experiences as ‘super natural’, meaning that they may be perfectly natural, but currently not understood by science. I also feel that all of these experiences are connected to one another and that they may also be events ‘customized’ for my own spiritual growth. I would love to explain that in more detail, but since I don’t entirely understand it all myself, suffice to say that while many of us have similar, strange experiences, each experience is unique to the individual. I am not a professional psychic, nor am I any kind of ‘guru’. While high strangeness has followed me around for my whole life, I am pretty much like everyone else. I have had a career in banking and financial services and also worked in public health, IT services, and mortgage lending, with a background in supervision and management as well. On a personal level, I have also been a wife and mother, and laundered my share of socks and underwear! One of the important lessons that I have learned in my life is that most, if not all people, are having, or have had really strange experiences at some point in their lives. Many people simply do not pay attention when these things happen, choose to ignore them, or shut down out of fear. Finding ways to pay attention, be aware, and become a more conscious individual can only benefit you and the world at large. My goal is to provide you with tools, guidance, and information to assist you in becoming more conscious about yourself and reality, and to encourage you to explore that reality and be willing to ask questions that may not have easy answers for you. One thing that I have learned after all these years is that personal growth requires a certain amount of discomfort, physically, emotionally, or intellectually (or all three!) throughout one’s life. To quote C. S. Lewis: “And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad.” To put my knowledge in perspective for you, I began exploring these topics, intermingled with metaphysics, the sciences, and history when I was about 12 years old. While I have acquired a lot of knowledge, as well as some wisdom, I do not have all the answers, but I certainly enjoy pursuing them. I hope that you do too!
