The debut of Jodie Whittaker as the new Doctor Who drew 1.37 million viewers which was a 48% increase in viewership of the series. In the UK, the BBC simulcast brought in 8.2 million viewers, beating the first episodes of both Matt Smith's and Peter Capaldi's runs as the Doctor. Damon Wayans announced that, after the 13 episodes of Season 3 are finished filming in December, he will be leaving Lethal Weapon. Hulu has ordered a 10-episode Wu-Tang Clan scripted series, titled Wu-Tang: An American Saga, from RZA. According to THR, the show will be "set in New York in the 1990s at the height of the crack cocaine epidemic" and will "follow the Clan's formation, a vision of Bobby Digs (aka RZA), who strives to unite a dozen young black men who are torn between music and crime but who eventually rise to become the unlikeliest of American success stories." The Heathers reboot is still alive at Paramount Network. Previously canceled, the series has had some upsetting scenes edited out and will now air as marathon during the week of Halloween. The nine episodes will air two hours a night starting Thursday, Oct. 25 and will conclude on Oct. 29, followed by a Heathers-themed Lip Sync Battle. Greg Nicotero confirmed his new Creepshow TV series will feature new original stories by Stephen King, Joe Hill and Joe R Lansdale (Bubba Hotep). The series will debut on Shudder in 2019.
