NEWS HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK
"The Walking Dead's" Season 8 midseason premiere, titled "Honor," was the lowest rated since Season 2's midseason premiere, bringing in just 8.3 million viewers. Paramount Network delayed the release of "Heathers," due to the Parkland shooting. But the show has also received horrible ratings so it's possible they'll be reshooting the pilot. No release date has been announced, as of yet. Lionsgate's newly formed Studio L is developing a Blair Witch Project TV series Billy Eichner will star in his first stand up special for Netflix. No release date has been announced but it will be produced later this year. Netflix has ordered a weekly talk show hosted by former "Daily Show" correspondent, Hasan Minhaj Netflix has set up deals with Production I.G and Bones Inc., two established anime studios behind hits like "Ghost In The Shell" and "My Hero Academia," to help the streaming service bring 30 original anime series to Netflix this year.
