Description
Hey Clinkers, Happy Valentine's Week! To continue the lovefest, we want to know who is your TV crush? Could be a celebrity ... or even the character they played. Inquiring minds want to know ... This episode finds Aaron a bit loopy after a long day doing some bizarre background acting on a Disney Channel TV show. He was pelted with yogurt and ended up dressing as a Mexican Wrestler. So basically, he's sleep-deprived and drinking. Welcome to CrazyTown! NEWS HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK: Ryan Murphy is moving from 20th Century Fox to Netflix. His new five-year deal will pay the man $300-million dollars and goes into effect July 1st. Murphy will continue to serve as an exec producer on FX's "American Horror Story," "American Crime Story," "Feud," "Pose" and Fox's "911." In its first three days, "The Cloverfield Paradox" had 2.8 million viewers — which is one-fourth the size of the audience for "Bright," which brought in roughly 11-million dollars in its first three days on the platform. "The Daily Show's" Michelle Wolf — basically the best correspondent on "The Daily Show" during the Trevor Noah years — has signed on for her own late-night show on Netflix. It'll premiere later this year. "New Girl's" Hannah Simone will star in ABC's "Greatest American Hero" reboot After a 20-episode first season, Netflix has canceled "Disjointed" Mary J. Blige will star in Netflix's "Umbrella Academy." This is Blige's first ever series regular gig. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she will play the role of Cha-Cha, "a ruthless and unorthodox hit-woman who travels through time to kill assigned targets. She is sadistic, sociopathic, and her reputation precedes her. Her true love is torture, and she thinks of herself as a "pain artist." She really doesn't care for people — except for her partner Hazel." AARON'S LOSERS: "Supernatural," "The Resident" and "Here and Now" JACK'S LOSERS: "Our Cartoon President" AARON'S FENCERS: "Homeland" and "Channel Zero: Butcher's Block" JACK'S FENCERS: "The Bachelor Winter Games" and "The Mortified Guide" AARON'S WINNERS: "Rotten," "This Close," "The Mortified Guide" and "Queer Eye" JACK'S WINNERS: "This Close," "Counterpart" and "Broad City" Be sure to subscribe on iTunes and comment! Well would ya look at that, we're back ... kind of.  It's episode 126 of Punch Drunk TV and, well, it's been a while. When Jack proposed this "terrible idea" of doing a one-off episode where we talk about the year's best TV shows, I couldn't help but say yes. I mean, I have a baby and no social...
