“Damnit. I had avoided your podcast bc I'd avoided watching more TV. I figured, "Why listen if I'm not gonna be watching shows?" But TV is in the air, under the collective skin, and owning the zeitgeist. So I decided last month to deep-dive back into binge-watching, and your podcast became my go-to advisor. Seriously: I had no idea where to begin, so I simply tuned in to your winners and was not disappointed. Thanks to you guys -- Jack and Aaron -- mensches both, Mr. Robot is now my favorite show. I would've never thought to watch it without you. I didn't think it was about what it's actually about, but it's genuinely moving and suspenseful, and it was your enthusiasm that convinced me to try it. I have now watched ALL of Vikings and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. And I'm half-way through the first season of UnReal and am loving that too. I would've never watched those shows if not for your podcast. I enjoy your insights, your chemistry, and your shade-throwing. I have tried to throw shade like you chaps do, and I just can't. Can't sling the shade. Not a good shade-slinger. But from your mouths, I have many times heard shade slung and thought, "Yes, someone finally said it: THANK YOU." I haven't listened to you yet while buzzed on my favorite cocktail, #clinkers, but that's forthcoming. Also, for whatever reason, I enjoy your nothing-happened bathroom breeeee,eeeaaakkks.
