“This is a great podcast if you are looking to find those “hidden gems” buried beneath the slushy avalanche of soulless, big budget hackjobs. This is not to say Brian and Elric are snobs. They are the opposite and never get personal or snide when discussing movies. They are affable dudes and knowledgeable about cinema. You feel like you are just discussing flicks over a few beers(and maybe some whiskey shots) with buddies. They have given me a ton to watch. Their special themed episodes are wonderful. They also have great guests. Still waiting for the Hal Hartley deep dive.”
