I am a white woman continuing to learn about what I was not taught growing up. Thank you for telling this history. It is painful to learn what white people have done to black people but I believe it’s our responsibility to learn, listen and advocate for laws and attitudes to change.

I love this stuff! The utter distortion in schools (I’m a college professor) related to the blacks (and other minorities) is real. I am amazed when I inform students at the college where I teach (in PA) that slaves actually were owned and worked on the land where the college itself stands. ...Read full review »
