RIP Q
I’ve listened to Q for many years, and jian, although fired for unbecoming personal preferences, was the soul reason this show had reached it’s top class status. he was thoughtful, passionate, and immersed himself into the discussion. we weren’t listening to an interview… we were listening to a compelling, insightful conversation. unfortunately with shad, that all ended. it became an interview. the discourse is clunky, he can’t reciprocate the candid jokes, and if i hear him reply with “interesting” one more time… i’m going to pull my hair out. the show has turned into something that would resemble a child equipped with a microphone and a list of questions. i can no longer stomach it. goodbye, Q!

It's different than "The Roundup" but it's also got a little bit more edge and way better guests. Jian rocks! Way to make CBC radio spring back to life.Read full review »
