“Has the interminable slog of the COVID era kicked your mental health repeatedly in the fruit basket? I can relate. You’d like to call up some of your friends and have them bring over some edibles, a six-pack, and some trashy horror DVDs. Too bad your friends are all busy being dumb and not doing that. Bummer! Get new friends!
If getting better friends is not an option, Eanna and Ande (and sometimes China!) are on the case! Queens is ostensibly a horror movie review podcast, but more accurately it’s a group therapy/roast session with your funniest, rowdiest friends while outrageous video store relics play in the background.
The vibe is simultaneously cozy and boisterous as the Queens sound off about work, living in Pittsburgh, parenthood, sex, and bad drivers. This is in addition to the horror movie commentary where the focus is on, well...trash. But I like trash! And I like this podcast! Five thumbs up!”
