“Listened to the first two episodes on my commute today and it brought me such joy! So far the moonlight episode is my favourite as you guys summed up everything i love about it. I had never really thought about the water imagery and all the themes it ‘flows’ through. *Spoiler* i didn’t mind too much that they didn’t kiss. I think it added to the bittersweet-ness of their relationship and it didn’t take away from the main themes of the film - which to me was mainly identity (sexuality, masculinity and blackness). A kiss may have taken away from that focus and provide a sort of closure, which i don’t think fits in with the narrative, as the main character is only just beginning to be in touch with himself. Anyway keep up the amazing work and i can’t wait to hear more episodes !!”
