Lamingtons are good and so is this show
I am literally writing this review while drinking a very good home brewed Lamington stout. First, four stars because its a good show and well worth a listen, especially after work when you’re wanting something fun but thoughtful to relax with on a walk with the dog. Of course it’s still good if you don’t have a dog. Or a walk. Being human, of course the question becomes - why not five stars? Well, the fifth star is missing because: 1) How can you be exalted unless you at least have one seat you can move up? 2) In the episode on ‘Was Jesus a Rubbish Carpenter?’ I was disappointed they didn’t look at John 2, given Jesus was obviously a great wine-maker. As a home brewer I expect, even without a miracle, he would know so much about the process his presence would definitely help me improve this 9/10 Lamington stout I am enjoying. In particular whilst it tastes great it could have a better head on the beer. However, Jesus would probably be more interested in how my home brew might be used to serve others in love. Even so I don’t think he’d neglect the brew. 3) How can you send in questions you’re not asking - technically doesn’t someone else have to send that in on your behalf? To finish, I do wonder two things - would Jesus listen to this podcast on 1.5 speed - and if Jesus made you a sandwich would it taste better than any sandwich you’d ever tasted?

More reviews of Questions You're Not Asking
Who knew there are so many questions I am not asking!! Chris and Tom weave nuanced and thoughtful theology into conversations about some of the most ridiculous topics imaginable. Genius. And I can’t look away.

Got Itunes for the first time just so it was possible to write a review that used the word 'snuffleupagus' Snuffle up agus Also, do you think the story of Jacob and Esau in Genesis 29:18 through to Gen 33:20 has any bearing on the Jesus twin question? If Jacob and Esau were twins, but...Read full review »

I’m a few months late to party but glad I stumbled upon the podcast. Found the live recording on Facebook and was sucked right in! Tom and Chris handle these “questions you’re not asking” with a spectacular balance of theological reverence and off-the-wall humor. It was a ridiculous experience ...Read full review »
