Why do people divorce? Quite a question, isn't it? So let us walk you through what the research says. When we start talking about divorce, we can speculate all day long. If you ask people on the street, "What do you think is the biggest problem with marriage?" They will say something like communication. But when you start asking them, "What does that mean?" you begin to realize that they're talking about something other than communication.  If you look at the literature out there, you're going to find that typically, people want to divorce for one or more of these three reasons: I don't feel like you love me, I don't feel like you like me, I don't feel like you respect me. Sometimes, no matter how much you think you're communicating like love, and respect, your spouse does not perceive it that way.
