Part of something bigger
As a freelance designer it’s really interesting to hear about other people’s experiences with work, life, balance, security, skills, fears, dreams, relationships, and anything else we deal with every day. As I’ve found with most 5by5 podcasts I enjoy (particularly Back To Work), this show has a very human-centred perspective. It’s not that I learn a hot tip every episode. It’s more like it encourages a wider-reaching perspective shift in the grand scheme. It’s reassuring to know other people are like me. It’s useful to know how these people, who are like me, deal with certain challenges. It’s presented in a friendly and engaging tone. Honestly I can’t recommend Grit enough. I love the idea. I love the presentation. I love the humour. I love feeling that this is a podcast designed and recorded for me. Thank you Dan!
