Good content but STOP SAYING “KIDDO” so much :)
I really appreciate the topics and dialogue that goes on in these podcasts. I just started listening last week and I’ve binge-listened — and the quality after the first 3 episodes improved drastically. The first 3 were really quiet — so quiet that I couldn’t listen to them in the car or shower because the volume couldn’t go up high enough to hear. 🤣 I also feel so much validation by hearing that what I’m going through as a stepmom is normal. Thank you for sharing your life with us! My biggest gripe (it’s minor and I’m being picky but it greatly annoys me...) is how much you use the word “kiddo” to describe your step kids. It’s easily a dozen times each episode. I understand not wanting to say their names to protect their privacy but call them stepdaughter, step-kid, daughter, son, stepson, child, etc. but stop referring to them as “kiddo”. It’s my only gripe about the podcast and I don’t know why it irks me but is does.

I just listened to season 2 episode 19. It was soooooo good to hear from a couple of full time step mom situations. I know it’s rare, but I would looooove if you guys did more on those. It’s such a different dynamic. Y’all are awesome, and I am so glad I found this podcast!

I’ve been searching for a resource where I feel I can relate to other bonus moms and now I’ve found it! This podcast truly feels like you’re sitting with two friends talking about the challenges of this role that most of us may not have planned for ourselves of a being a stepmom. Thank you for...Read full review »
