Converted Skeptic
I began listening to Radio Diaries on a friend’s recommendation, though the description of the show did not appeal to me. I’m glad I pushed past my reluctance. With seemingly minimal production, the format relies mainly on its subjects’ own words and environmental sounds to portray snapshots of life in the US. I particularly like the episodes that revisit subjects who recorded such diaries 16 years ago; the then-and-now correlation adds an incredible depth to the story. The show deserves more listeners, and I’m proud to support their Kickstarter campaign. Thanks for a great show!

Well presented podcast but it's very sad to hear someone sentenced to death. Sometimes innocent people get punished for the crime they did not commit.
