“Radiowest with host Doug Fabrizio is a thoughtful, insightful, exemplary piece of radio. But what I appreciate about the production, above all, is that the production staff goes to great ends to avoid the anger and cringe-inducing conflicts that might otherwise mar the complex discussions of ideas. Fabrizio is masterful in his interviewing style. He is curious, respectful, and immensely prepared. I’ve noticed instances when a topic does come up that’s likely to stir emotions, Radiowest conducts the interview before the show and runs the tape during the live broadcast. Crosstalk rarely takes place; but when it does, the tension caused by the shift in tone is almost palpable, and it would seem that the offending guest quickly understands the breach and self-corrects. We are lucky that interviewers like Doug Fabrizio and shows like Radiowest have a place in today’s media.”
