“On one of their episodes, Anthony was talking about how much he loved Brian De Palma movies, and this was a little after I joined their patreon/ discord. The day of that Podcast I went on their discord and recommended to him my favorite movie of all time “Phantom of the Paradise”. Nobody ever really talks about this movie or gives it the love it deserves. That same night he checked it out and we had a brief conversation about it which was awesome. What was even cooler was the fact that he gave it some love on the podcast and since then he has talked about it multiple times. It makes me really happy that Phantom of the Paradise is just one of the many many movies these guys bring into the light for tons of people who may not know about them. There are so many movies that deserve to be seen and talked about much more and Ive now watched countless amazing movies , half of them being recs by this podcast. I’ve never had so much fun listening and interacting with a podcast before in my life. These guys genuinely just want to connect and talk about their love of film.”
