I’d give 5 and a half stars if I could
I’ve been listening to these guys since they still had manscaped as a sponsor. Easily one of my favorite podcasts. James and Anthony have an extensive knowledge of film and film making and communicate it without sounding like pretentious d bags. Every time they post my watchlist gets bigger, and I’ve discovered some of my favorite movies and directors from this podcast. It’s been really cool to see the podcast grow over the years, and see James and Anthony get to interview some big directors and actors. It’s also awesome to see them working on their own films and creative projects outside of the podcast. Despite the podcast getting bigger they’re still really down to earth, responding to messages on instagram and interacting with their fans. It was pretty cool to hear my letterboxd read out on the show. If you’re interested in movies and want to learn more this is the show for you. However I’m still not fully convinced that James isn’t just Anthony in a wig. Also if they don’t post a Hayao Miyazaki director spotlight I’ll be forced to UNSUBSCRIBE.

I could be missing the entire point of the pod if that’s the actual case, and if...Read full review »
