In today’s episode of Figuring Out, we have Saloni Khanna in conversation with Raj Shamani. She is an Educationist, Economist, UPSC Interviewer, and also the Founder of ‘Skill Up Foundation’.
In this episode, we talked about capitalism, shortcomings in our education system, how suicide is the number one cause of death among students, and how the value system shapes a person’s life, behavior, and relationships. We then discussed how the media sets the narrative and affects our decisions and behavior. We also talked about the commitment issue that most of our generation faces and how it can be solved.
Towards the end, we talked about the evolution of feminism, the concept of water wives in a village in Maharashtra, and the story of Shiv ji where you gracefully taught the importance of masculinity and femininity. We ended our conversation by talking about patriarchy and the part of women in the suffering of the other women. For such interesting episodes, don’t forget to subscribe to our channel.
