The former President of the US, Donald Trump, has been indicted. Never before in the history of this country has a former President faced criminal prosecution yet if we look closely at his behaviour before, during and after his presidency, we should not be surprised. Neither should his allies, however their choice was always the easy way...defend him or risk losing their voters. And so their feigned moral outrage is just that...fake and cowardly. This is the start of a new era in the US and one where the criminal indictment of former president Trump was necessary and predictable.
