Cocaine Bear Knights of the Zodiac is a difficult movie to review because it feels like beating up a retarded person, like giving poison to a baby, like ripping the head off a duckling, or sexually violating your buddy’s grandma. You know, things that don’t take a lot of effort. Speaking of low effort, Knights of the Zodiac is a movie with all style and no substance. All flash and no bang. It’s the product of taking the basic hero’s journey, filling it up with every cliched line in the book, and then asking a five-year-old to fill in the rest. But they did kill Sean Bean, so at least they got something right. Otherwise, this movie gave me AIDS.
