Cocaine Bear 50. Knights of the Zodiac The Killer is about an assassin who for the first time botches a job and has to deal with the consequences. Throughout the film we see how meticulous this man is in the planning and execution of his work. We see his seemingly unlimited resources and false identities put to use internationally while he fills in the downtime with voiceover of his murder wisdom and nihilistic philosophy. All of this would be great if there was a story attached because this is a film we’re talking about, not a TV show, but that’s exactly what it feels like in the end, a very good pilot episode of a TV series meant to establish a main character. It feels like an introduction with no followup, like a series of events that suddenly ends. A person has to be killed and the killer kills them with little to no trouble. He even complains early on about the lack of creativity in his latest gigs. One would expect this to herald the coming of some exciting and unique killing sequences, but no. Just about everybody gets shot with a gun after a bit of stalking so we really never see his killing skills at their best, even after things get personal. Needless to say this is one leaves a lot to be desired.
