Description
Zen teacher Andrew Weiss returns for another installment of "The Guru and The Grasshopper." This week we explore the seeming paradox of releasing attachments and manifesting our reality through the core concepts taught by the Law of Attraction and the third Unity principle. Andrew has studied mindfulness meditation for many years in the United States, Europe, and Asia. His early studies of Zen focused early on in the Korean tradition with Zen Master Seung Sahnh and Zen Master Su Bong. In 1989 he met the Vietnamese Zen monk Thich Nhat Hanh, and in 1991, he was ordained a Brother in Thich Nhat Hanh's Order of Interbeing. In 1999, he was ordained by zen priest Claude AnShin Thomas in the White Plum Lineage of Japanese Soto Zen. He is the author of Beginning Mindfulness, a short-course in mindfulness practice and spiritual development.
We're interviewing Mellisa Dormoy, founder of Shambala Kids. She is on a mission to reach and teach self-esteem, stress management, and goal attainment to children and teens all over the globe through meditation and relaxation audio and programs.
