Nancy Peacock's first novel, Life Without Water, was published in 1996 and was chosen as a New York Times Notable Book. A second novel, Home Across the Road, soon followed. Her most recent work, A Broom of One's Own: Words on Writing, Housecleaning, and Life, is about the dual life she lived as a critically acclaimed author while supporting herself working as a housecleaner. She has just completed her third novel, The Life and Times of Persimmon Wilson.
We're interviewing Mellisa Dormoy, founder of Shambala Kids. She is on a mission to reach and teach self-esteem, stress management, and goal attainment to children and teens all over the globe through meditation and relaxation audio and programs.
