“I came to this podcast while trying to learn more about Vincent Price and his daughter Victoria, and it opened up a whole new world! If you love pop culture and Los Angeles history (particularly from the 1950s to the 1980s), this podcast will be like catnip for you. It takes you right back to a time and place that I wish I lived through, and that many probably miss. If you’re interested in iconic celebrities, you will hear stories and perspectives that you won’t hear anywhere else. Josh Mills is a tremendous interviewer. He asks the questions even the most obsessive of us want to ask, and is backed up by his stellar, in-depth research, his passion for the matters at hand, and his own unusual background. He seems warm, sensitive, and kind, and facilitates an atmosphere where his guests can be honest—often movingly so. We live in a world where people rarely connect with each other, and where people often dehumanize celebrities and those close to them. This podcast provides a great corrective to these depressing trends. It’s one of my favorites.”
