Lots of good some bad
These guys can do great analysis and I love the show for the most part. Good personalities and chemistry, well planned etc. the best part is Eno’s discussion of players in his models, the strengths and weaknesses of those models and how scouting can be combined for player evaluation. Here is what’s bad and what I anticipate a lot more of now that Welsh is on the show: lots of discussion of “the industry” of fantasy baseball analysis and analyst/high stakes leagues. Guys, seriously, no one wants to hear long stories about who was in your tout wars draft and how they sniped you or what their tendencies are or how you hung out at first pitch Arizona. Please stop. Finally most people who haven’t played fantasy baseball since the 90’s are pretty aware that steals, runs, wins, saves and the like are archaic ways to measure baseball player value and that roto makes no sense. Points leagues are more popular despite the small number of people who play in high stakes leagues. please acknowledge.

This is the best baseball podcast available right now both in terms of content and quality. Eno’s got the brainy research and DVR has a voice Morgan Freeman could envy. Oh and beer, cause why not?
