Description
This episode starts off with Chromez calling Fanatik a COVID-19 patient because some people from his place of work tested positive for the disease. This leads them into a conversation about the pandemic. Also discussed is Lusaka July and how irresponsible the Mayor of Lusaka, His Worship Miles Sampa was for going to a club before lockdown rules were relaxed (0:06). Speaking of Lusaka July, the guys talk about how the event can become more successful and why some of the people that go there mess it up (22:05). Chromez & Fanatik have some words for Zambian journalist Kennedy Gondwe who is a correspondent for the BBC after he published a story about the President of Zambia bidding farewell to a fish that is said to have given good luck to students at the Copperbelt University and was fondly known as 'Mafishi' (45:09). Leader of the opposition party FDD Edith Nawakwi is calling out fellow opposition leader of the UPND Hakainde Hichilema for allegedly selling national assets during the privatization era in the '90s. Mr. Hichilema has denied the claims and even gone as far as suing Ms. Nawakwi. Is Ms. Nawakwi a hypocrite? After all, she was the Minister of Finance when the privatization process was in motion, or is Mr. Hichilema hiding something? (1:11:58). The guys then engage in a conversation where they throw shade at each other's favorite football teams (1:58:13). Chromez & Fanatik talk about late actor Chadwick Boseman who was known for playing Black Panther. They discuss his impact on the Marvel Cinematic Universe and how the movie impacted them personally (2:28:26). They close off the episode by thanking people that take time to listen to this podcast every week. YOU ARE THE REASON THIS PODCAST IS STILL HERE SO THANK YOU!
