Rail freight transport operators face pressure to improve the capacity and efficiency of their operations while keeping expenditures and environmental impact low. As a result, they are increasingly looking for new ways to move more for less. Adif Logistics Centers in Spain is working with Cellnex and Nokia to deploy private and public 5G networks across its logistics terminals to boost the digitalization and, ultimately, the automation, sustainability and cost reduction of its rail freight operations.
