Jones County High School was one of the lowest performing school districts in the state of North Carolina. As part of the Race to the Top initiative, the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction's District and School Transformation Team went to work with Jones County administrators and a number of business and community partners to take the school from failure to success. "Whatever It Takes" is Jones County High School's motto.
