One of a kind podcast
I am a Christian philosophy student and I cannot recommend Real Atheology enough to anyone who is interested in serious and quality discussions about philosophy of religion! In it you can expect to find careful and rigorous analysis of major topics in philosophy of religion like arguments for and against God's existence, coherence of theism, epistemology of religious belief, and more, done in the form of discussions, debates, and interviews with important figures in the field. What makes this podcast truly one of a kind is its excellent hosts, Justin Schieber and Benjamin Blake Speed Watkins and the refreshing manner in which they conduct discussions about religion. Although both Justin and Benjamin are atheist (hence, the name of the podcast) they approach debates in philosophy of religion with honesty, intellectual rigor, and fairness to all parties of the debate so that no one can justifiably fault them for being partisan. You won't find here "strawmen" of theism and ready refutations which are convincing only to those already convinced. On the contrary, every effort is made to present the strongest theistic positions before critically examining them. This is why I, as a theist, appreciate this project so much and recommend it to my friends. Real Atheology educates and draws bridges between theists and atheists in a world where intelligent conversions about God and religion are becoming increasingly rare.

Unfortunately, since he has disappeared from the show, the remaining co-hosts, Ben...Read full review »
