“I’ve been a listener for over 10 years now, used to be a part of my daily routine. But I remember leaving and unfollowing maybe three years ago due to your pushing of the premium subscription. It really feels like you are disrespecting your longtime listeners, it’s pretty annoying and turns me of. For any readers of this review, check out “Lights out podcast.” Much more substance, trying to stay true to truthful stories, and the character of the show is far from this one who is constantly pushing for your money.
I decided to check back just today and give it another go, but was very disappointed to see that the money hungry pushing you do has not gotten better- and has only gotten worse.
What’s with the 10 minute stories? It’s a waste of time to be honest. Most of it is filled with useless conversations and banter. And your entire layout is confusing, I can’t tell which is an advertisement or an actual episode with genuine content. At this rate you’ll end up losing all your loyal listeners. It’s a shame that you’ll be losing me for a second time. It’s pretty sad.
Just think about your audience, we’re not silly and we can tell the approach you’re taking. Is the 5 subscribers per month really worth losing the 50 that we’re here for the fun of it? Judging by your reviews, I’m not the only one that feels this way.
It’s a shame, I checked back for a second try and I promise you I won’t be back for a third. I write this with disappointment, not malice. I just hope you’ll maybe consider this review added onto all the others complaining, and maybe be able to make the changes that will save this podcast from completely sinking. As a long time loyal listener, I feel that’s something I’d owe you.
