There is a moment in this flick where Ruby (Jena Malone) climbs on top of a corpse and makes out with it while masturbating. There is another scene where a mountain lion breaks into Jesse's (Elle Fanning) motel room which turns out to be a great moment of thematic foreshadowing for consumption, hunting, and predatory intent.
