Description
This is one of my favorite vampire movies of all time. It has so much going for it and I could have easily talked about this movie for an hour or more. Chris Sarandon is outstanding as Jerry Dandridge. He has all of the traits of a classic vampire: he's charming, magnetic, dangerous, and powerful. So many of the great moments of tension in this flick resist the urge to devolve into a bloodbath (a hallmark of the 80s) that it almost feels referential to the black and white vampire films of old. It was surprisingly good and I would recommend it to fans of action and...
