“So I am a HUGE fan of the RHAP universe and the shows that have spun out of it including the MTV Challenge and AYTO pods. I have been listening to the network for a few years now and I have refrained from writing a comment. What changed now was listening to the AYTO podcast and just not being able to take the grief anymore.
A few years ago, I was at a KIA event and I was talking to some Patrons about the pods. I mentioned how I hated Ali because she didn’t let others have opinions. I left it at that and continued to listen because they are still covering 2 shows that I deeply enjoy. As the last couple years have gone on I realized that I didn’t dislike Ali at all. She is actually pretty insightful and kinda funny so I’m down with it. What I DID notice was that Brian seems to fold more often to what Ali is saying even if he had originally disagreed with her. I didn’t pay it too much mind because as time as gone on I feel as if Brian stands up for himself a little more so maybe the pod is evolving.
What leads me to finally write this review is the guy who is on the AYTO podcast that thinks this is an improv troupe where he must go Yes And after everything Ali says. I was listening to the podcast from this week and I was just embarrassed by he amount of times he said one thing, Ali disagrees, he relents. One of the most egregious times was early in the podcast he says he doesn’t feel bad for Geles when Anthony broke up with her, Ali says she does, he then says he feels bad for not feeling too bad for Geles. What is that?! Bro it’s ok for you to have your own opinions. Ali keep making these dudes stand up for their own opinions.”
