The closest I can get to seeing it again for the first time.
I’ve been a fan of the LSG team since I went searching for a podcast episode talking about “Aliens” one evening, found their Sci-Fi Film podcast, and instantly knew these were My People. Sometimes BSG hurt me in an awesome, artistic achievement sort of way, and sometimes it hurt me in a “oh dear god why have they taken it in this direction” way, but I binged it basically the way they do in that “Portlandia” skit and I would love to erase it from my brain so I could see it again for the first time. Watching it again after five years and listening to Matthew experience it for the first time is such a joy, and almost as much fun as it was the first time around. Matthew and Dean are always fun to listen to, and they bring a lot of great observation and discussion to this podcast in addition to simply celebrating the show. It’s on Prime right now so the urge to binge it again is strong, but they make me want to take in one episode at a time and stay synced up with them as they make their way through the series. My favorite podcast of their whole network and we’re only four episodes in!

I watched all of BSG around 2008. It became what I consider one of the greatest shows I’ve ever seen. There were times I tried to rewatch it, but shows like game of thrones, breaking bad and other things grabbed my attention, but my love for battlestar never left. I’m FINALLY watching it again...Read full review »
