From one of the best, to one of the worst.
As someone who was an avid listener to this podcast since the beginning, it has massively gone down hill. First of all, the presenters behave as if they’re experts and everything they say is fact, they inform and comment on things, for example victim and offenders psychology, as if they’re specialists in those areas (they aren’t). The research that goes into episodes often lacks, and misinformation is often spread. Secondly, the presenters have become very political, very judgemental and very rude, there’s many times when they’re talking about sensitive matters such as victims, and they start making jokes or laughing about it, they’re completely tone deaf. One of the worst parts of the podcasts is the adverts they endorse, an example of this is the advertisement of diet pills, and for the better adverts such as for therapy, they’ll make comments such as ‘therapy isn’t just for crazy people’. On one of the more recent episodes covering the Chernobyl Disaster, they discuss Hisashi Ouchi, the man recorded for receiving the largest dose of radiation. They discuss this case as if the Doctors were evil and that they kept him alive solely for testing as it isn’t often someone has radiation sickness to that severity, however that is completely untrue. Doctors were legally obligated to do everything to save Hisashi, and they went above and beyond to save him, including recruiting the best Doctors in the world, using new and advanced methods such as stem cell transfers etc. Once Hisashi lost consciousness, only his family/wife could legally authorise euthanasia, they were also the only ones who could agree for Doctors to not resuscitate, due to the family not understanding the severity of Hisashi’s condition, they chose to request Doctors to keep him alive. Doctors even took the family in to see him daily to show his determination. There is so much more which could be mentioned. It’s almost as if presenters Googled Hisashi, read the first article and regurgitated it to their listers as if it were fact. There’s just so much Redhanded have got wrong and continue to get wrong, if you’re a listener and Redhanded are doing an episode regarding a topic you’ve not heard about before, make sure to do your own research, as it’s becoming more and more likely that you’ll of been misinformed about one thing, if not most things. This along with the presenters hideous attitudes and tone deaf ways, makes this Podcast unbearable. From one of the best Podcasts, to one of the worst.

I just discovered your podcast and like it very much. A good mix of story telling and comedy. I like a bit of humor in between the seriousness. Good job.
