Candid, funny, and occasionally poignant
The RSC podcast provides a back stage insight into comedy and theater--and the day to day activities of a performing group. The members of the RSC each have interesting backgrounds which are disclosed over the course of many podcasts. They are also well connected throughout the entertainment world and often have guests who give us a glimpse of broader arts. Sometimes an episode will deal with a serious but realistic and touching manner, such as the death of one member's wife, or providing deeper understanding of Ambassador Chris Stephens--who also a good friend--shortly after his death. The podcasts are never too long and are a combination of interesting and amusing. Oh--and they provide a weekly example of improper fractions. My math teacher would have loved that!

They invite us backstage to listen in with themselves and...Read full review »
