“i have seen these guys doing their Shakespeare routine twice, also the Bible and Great Books tours. for me, the RSC are a shinning example of theatre with it's roots in "olde" world literaure. some; including my 16-17 year old self, regard Shakespeare as a stagnant form, however, with their natural comic talents and understanding of crafting perfromance these guys bring the relevance of Shakespeare's themes to the fore with fast paced dialogue and a satyrical witt.
these guys are smart, they understand modern society and are able to relate what happens in our world to almost any classic work of art or literature.
