Short, sweet & very funny. what else did you expect?
I've been listening the Reduced Shakespeare Company since their radio shows were first broadcast in the UK. I was chuffed to bits when I discovered they had a podcast. I picked it up at about episode 5 and I've been with it ever since. Obviously funny, entertaining and well produced, the show is also refreshingly honest about the 'behind the scenes' world of touring theatre which only adds to the realisation that the RSC are passionate about what they do. It's perfect listening for drives and walks (you have to be tough skinned when people start pointing at you & then you realise it was because you were laughing openly to yourself in public!). It's family friendly and a new episode is available every week. Try it.

A weekly, irreverent (and sometimes irrelevant) but always interesting look behind the scenes of the other RSC from across the pond. Austin Tichenor guides you through life on the road, producing a new script, Shakespeare anecdotes, Star Trek vs baseball, nearly getting a TV show and much more. ...Read full review »
