Bollywood sequels have been the hot topic this week. Even as _Student of the Year 2_, a sequel to Karan Johar’s 2012 campus caper, releases today, a bunch of new sequels are creating buzz. While news about _Gadar 2_ being in planning stages came out, talks are on to make a sequel to Salman Khan films like Tere Naam and Kick too. The teaser to the romantic comedy, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan was also released just yesterday. And while the first movie tackled erectile dysfunction, the latest one discussed gay marriages. Pictures of Irrfan Khan from the sets of Angrezi Medium, a follow up to 2017’s Hindi Medium, have been doing the rounds for a while.  In episode 3 of our entertainment podcast Reel Deal, we discuss the merit of the sequels that are already in the making, and which category we put them in - one: who asked for this (boring!) or two: we deserve this (exciting)!
